How it works: The DCC takes a real-time reading of the energy consumption of the electrical panel of the house or condo; - Detects when the total energy consumption exceeds 80% of the capacity of the main circuit breaker and temporarily cuts off power to the charging station; - Automatically re-powers the charging station when the total consumption of the electrical panel is less than 80% of its capacity for more than 15 minutes. The DCC allows energy to go to the station only if the total demand of the panel is less than its maximum capacity.
