How it works: The DCC takes a real-time reading of the energy consumption of the home or condo's electrical panel; - Detects when the total energy consumption exceeds 80% of the main circuit breaker's capacity and temporarily cuts off power to the charging station; - Automatically re-powers the charging station when the total consumption of the electrical panel is below 80% of its capacity for more than 15 minutes. The DCC allows energy to go to the station only if the total demand of the panel is below its maximum capacity.
